The Capital of our province certainly merits a visit. It’s a city rich in works of art and monumental buildings. The geometric center of Pistoia is Piazza del Duomo, a monumental fulcrum of civil as well as ecclesiastic power including various architectures: the San Zeno Cathedral (Cattedrale di San Zeno), the bell tower, the St. John Baptistery (Battistero di San Giovanni), the Bishops’ Palace (Palazzo dei Vescovi), the Praetorian Palace (Palazzo Pretorio) or the Catilina court and high-medieval tower, at a height of 30 meters. |

| La Valdinievole |

An assembly of small towns in the Pistoia province, sheltered by the Pistoian Mountain extends across a beautiful plain where landscape, history and art enrich the patrimony of this valley. The major points of interest revolve around the Thermal baths of Montecatini Terme and Monsummano Terme; particular charms are brought out also by the small towns dotted across the mountains: besides the very famous Svizzera Pesciatina, the Uzzano Castello, Colle di Buggiano, Massa e Cozzile, Stignano, Montecatini Alto are not to be forgotten. Another important town is Pescia, world famous for its flower cultivation and the impressive market. To conclude toward the province of Florence, in the Comune di Ponte Buggianese the area of the padule di Fucecchio, untouched basin, protected area, rich in flora and fauna.

Following the state road of Abetone you arrive at Lucca, noticing immediately its imposing 15th-17th century city walls, which draw a perimeter of nearly 4.450 meters around the city’s historic nucleus, transformed since the second half of the 1800s in a pleasurable pedestrian stroll. The city boasts of fascinating urban spaces: the best known certainly being that of Piazza dell'Anfiteatro, born on the ruins of the antique Roman amphitheater and work of architect Nottolini and, architecturally, the only one of its kind. The main traffic vein from the historic city is the tight medieval Via Fillungo, which unites the major commercial businesses with the city. |

| Firenze |
Its consider the Renaissance’s place of origin and is recognized around the world as one of the birthplaces of art and architecture, with its numerous historical buildings, monuments and rich museums (among which the Galleria degli Uffizi, the Galleria Palatina, the Bargello and the Palazzo Pitti museums The historical center of Florence, closed inside the circle of roadways mapped out on the old Medieval walls, holds Florence’s most important cultural belongings. The historical center could be appreciated in its entirety from the hills surrounding it, in a particular way from Forte Belvedere, from Piazzale Michelangelo with the Romantic Basilica di San Miniato al Monte, and from the hill of Fiesole offering one of the most charming views of the Arno Valley. |

| Siena and to roads of Chianti |
For a trip outside of town we suggest a visit to Siena. Immersed in the hills of Chianti, it offers all the classic Tuscan landscapes with the cultivations and vineyards from which come the best typical Tuscan wines, and the classic farmsteads with the long driveways denoted by the a line of cypress trees. The city rich of artistic monuments is famous for its Piazza del Campo with the Palazzo Comunale and the Torre del Mangia. The Piazza is also famous for its welcoming the Palia delle Contrade two times a year, July 2 and August 16. It is a horse race – unique to the entire world in which the 17 historical contrade or quarters of the Tuscan city race against each other.

| Pisa |
Known throughout the world for the celebrated Piazza dei Miracoli, declared the patrimony of humanity. Inside we find the cathedral, built of marble between 1064 and 1118, in Romantic style, with its bronze gateways of Bonanno Pisano and Giovanni Pisano’s pulpit. In the piazza rises the characteristic 12th century Torre pendente (Leaning Tower), 55 meters high, which acquired its characteristic inclinations immediately following the beginning of its construction. |

For a day at the sea the Versilia coast is less than an hour trip from the Hotel. Forte dei Marmi, Viareggio e Lido di Camaiore are the major equipped beaches offering all comforts. |
